"I am a construction supervisor for various oil and gas companies. I have worked with North Peace Communications on several major projects and all have come in on time, on budget.
One of the projects was in the Sundre Alberta area in the Rocky Mountain foothills. The Oil company had a small very old SCADA system in-place but wanted to upgrade and modernize every well in the area. They wanted to use high speed to optimize the wells remotely via radio and save on operator visits to sites. This meant designing a network and placing of towers to accommodate the mountainous terrain. One of the sites included building a 100 foot tower on the top of a mountain. We had to use all terrain vehicles and dozers, track hoes to build this tower. It is a full CSA certified tower and fully functional. This project lasted six months and came in on time on budget and with full communications and control of every wellsite. Operations were impressed with what they could now do without being at site and how the communication design came together.
North Peace supplied the radios, and towers and all communication parts and did the project with no lost time or first aids.
They are extremely safety orientated and fully complied with all the company requests for documentation and delivery of a safe workplace.
Another project was in Northern Alberta by Fort McMurray building a SCADA system with radio to remote wellsites. This also meant building CSA towers and doing the installations. Most of these wells are not easily reached even on frozen ground. This project also came in on time and budget with no first aids.
Danny and his crew are focused on safety and delivering a quality project within Oil and Gas company guidelines. I would not hesitate to call North Peace for assistance on any project or even on advice as they do that well also.
